Totally check this out. This player integrates RSS, bitttorrent, and VLC to create an internet TV interface. You can subscribe to channels, download music videos, and probably some stuff I haven't figured out yet. It's open source, works on windows, linux, and mac. Download "Democracy Now" with a click. Sorry for the commericial, but this makes me excited since I don't have cable. Oh, and its called "Democracy Player."

Well, the content available isn't as great as I'd hoped. Plus you can't import torrents that are outside whatever syndication protocol so, its not a way to organize media. Though, I assume they are working on some way to make this possible in future releases.

I'm going to keep my eye on it. Though for now, it is only a debian-based download for Linux distributions (though there is a Gentoo ebuild I could use in my office, though not much time there to peruse this stuff there).

you mean you can't just compile it yourself from the source files? ;)
