Beware the Ides of March...

So are they all, all honorable men.

Bush's Troubles Weigh Heavily as Republicans Meet to Showcase Candidates - New York Times: "Some senior Republicans with ties to the White House, who asked for anonymity because they did not want to be identified describing internal White House deliberations, said there was a widespread feeling here that Mr. Bush would be well served to bring in new advisers, either replacing Andrew H. Card Jr., his chief of staff, or Karl Rove, his senior political adviser."

March 15th (The Ides of March)
There are many explainations of What the Ides of March means.
The Middle of the month, the assisnation of Julies Ceaser etc.
My favorite is the death of Winter.
My mother explained it this way.
Winter is in her death throws. The Ides of March are the beginning of the end, one day you will have beautiful weather, and you will thinking spring has arrived. This will be followed by Thunder - Lighting - Freezing rain - snow - hail - tornados etc.
Winter is trying to hang on. But alas, Spring will arrive and winter will have gasped her last breath,,,at least until December.
I lived in the mid-west at the time and it was certainly ture most of the time.
Now I live in the NorthEast. Yesterday was beautiful - today is Rain and Thunder - Snow on Wednesday - and oh yeah Tornado watch in my old hometown.
